테이스팅 노트
잔을 흔들어 향을 열면 효모와 농가 냄새, 데운 우유 같은 낯선 결이 먼저 올라오고 딜과 송진의 향이 뒤를 잇는다. 코를 더 깊이 넣으면 바닐라가 두껍게 깔려 있다. 한 모금 머금으면 감초와 데친 채소, 캐러멜이 차례로 지나가고 60.4도의 도수가 혀를 팽팽하게 당긴다. 물을 더하면 화이트 럼 같은 날카로움이 살짝 드러난다. 26년을 보낸 밀짚빛 이 보틀링은 끝이 다소 마르게 닫힌다.

starts yeastier and farmier than usual, with quite some hot milk and some herbal notes (dill). Gets a little resinous and quite ‘vanilled’… Rather complex in fact, a nice expression of Balvenie without the usual sweetness and roundness

rather nervous, with lots of vanilla (should I add ‘of course’?) and liquorice, going on with some cooked green vegetables and quite some caramel. A style on its own! Some interesting notes of white rum (ti-punch) and a rather long finish, just slightly too drying. Anyway, I like this one quite a lot. 86 points .
