punchier than the DL, with a slightly wider spectrum. That means that it’s a tad fruitier (ripe pineapples) as well as a little grassier (white rum, quite obvious). Other than that, it’s similar to the DL. With water: same ‘old Ardbeg’ effect as with the DL. Not that old Caol Ilas aren’t great, but ‘hurray!’ Ahem, excuse me
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
again, very close to the DL but a tad richer, and that’s not only the higher ABV in my opinion. Fir tree honey, walnut skin, ashes, lemon. Excellent. With water: more of the same, with a greater mouth feel. Very zesty
timer 피니시
long, clean, with more peat and pepper in the aftertaste
