테이스팅 노트
잔을 들어 흔들면 황금빛이 두껍게 잔 벽에 달라붙는다. 코를 가까이 하면 잘 익은 파인애플의 단내가 먼저 오고 뒤에서 갓 벤 풀과 화이트 럼 같은 알코올의 날이 서 있다. 한 모금 삼키면 전나무 꿀의 진한 단맛과 호두 속껍질의 떫음, 재와 레몬이 차례로 지나간다. 물을 더하면 질감이 한결 넓어지며 시트러스가 살아난다. 1984년 셰리 혼스헤드에서 25년, 55.2도의 끝에 후추와 피트가 남는다.

punchier than the DL, with a slightly wider spectrum. That means that it’s a tad fruitier (ripe pineapples) as well as a little grassier (white rum, quite obvious). again, very close to the DL but a tad richer, and that’s not only the higher ABV in my opinion. Fir tree honey, walnut skin, ashes, lemon. Excellent. With water: more of the same, with a greater mouth feel. Very zesty

long, clean, with more peat and pepper in the aftertaste
