테이스팅 노트
글렌 앨빈은 인버네스에 있던 지금은 사라진 증류소다. 노즈에서는 마른 곡물과 시트러스, 옅은 흙내가 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 1977년 증류해 21년을 보낸 만큼 향은 잘 익은 과일과 바닐라, 가벼운 왁스로 발전한다. 59.8도의 팰럿은 보리 단맛 위로 감귤과 마른 과일, 후추가 단단하게 맞물린다. 피니시는 곡물과 오크가 길게 이어진다. 폐쇄 증류소의 희소한 캐릭터가 또렷한 21년 숙성이다.

I have the feeling that this one was a little fresher than the others, and rather more on apples (goldens) and oranges. Then indeed, a few juicy sultanas and something like a pecan pie. Very very pleasant so far. With water: some white chocolate, madeleines, and drops of almond milk. No quibbling

really good, powerful of course, but fresh, with no leathery sherryness in the way (I find many hastily seasoned sherry casks too leathery). Apples and oranges again, walnut cake, Golden Grahams and then even more orange. That’s very good. With water: notes of bonbons coming out, and the faintest touch of natural rubber. No problemo

medium, clean, on pastries and cakes, with just a touch of leather/rubber again in the aftertaste
