잔을 천천히 돌리면 28년을 보낸 깊은 황금빛이 유리벽에 느릿한 자국을 남긴다. 코를 가까이 하면 사라진 인버네스의 글렌 올빈 특유의 부드러운 맥아 향과 잘 익은 배, 옅은 왁스가 은은하게 올라온다. 한 모금 흘려보내면 오랜 숙성이 다듬은 매끈한 질감 위로 꿀과 시트러스, 가벼운 향신료가 번진다. 53.1도로 잔잔히 삼킨 뒤에도 달큰한 과일과 묵은 오크가 혀끝에 천천히 머문다.
