오크 캐스크에서 30년을 보낸 시간이 사라진 증류소 글렌 알빈의 희귀한 풍미를 오롯이 품었다. 1974년 증류된 원액 위로 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 마른 풀과 밀랍의 향이 그윽하게 번진다. 55.9도의 힘이 입안에서 캐러멜과 시트러스, 잘 마른 오크를 진하게 끌고 가며 혀를 감싼다. 깊은 황금빛 뒤로 꿀과 오래된 우드의 여운이 길고 우아하게 이어진다.

rather hot and grainy but the grain is sweet and nicely creamy. Things like buttery popcorn and coconut coming through. I also find gorse, some dried yellow flowers, wet tea leaves and some hints of sherry with this rather elegant gingery warmth. Can’t seem to decide whether it wants to be powerful or restrained. In time the sherry and sweeter tones really start to sing beautifully. With water: much grainier and more youthful with cereal sweetness, barley sugar and heather honey
