테이스팅 노트
인버네스 부두 부근, 1983년에 폐쇄된 글렌 알빈 증류소가 자리했던 북부 하이랜드 평원의 풍토가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 1978년산 33년은 진한 황금빛으로 잔에 깊게 머문다. 향에는 갓 구운 패스트리와 잘 익은 사과, 옅은 바닐라가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 꿀과 시나몬, 토스트한 헤이즐넛이 묵직하게 입을 채우고 50.5도의 균형은 단정하다. 사라진 증류소가 남긴 마른 곡물 여운이 길게 이어진다.
