잔을 가볍게 흔들면 1978년 증류된 깊은 황금빛이 천천히 잔 벽을 타고 흐른다. 코끝에 가져가면 마른 과일과 밀랍, 옅은 허브의 향이 섬세하게 올라온다. 한 모금을 입에 머금고 굴리면 46도의 부드러운 질감 위로 농축된 과일과 꿀의 단맛이 번진다. 천천히 삼키면 사라진 글렌 알빈 증류소의 오래되고 깊은 과일 여운이 또렷이 깃들어 길게 이어진다.
