잔을 가까이 하면 폐쇄된 글렌 알빈 특유의 마른 풀과 가벼운 시트러스 향이 명확하게 드러난다. First Cask가 27년산 46도로 병입한 이 Glen Albyn 1979는 인버네스의 잊혀진 하이랜드 증류소가 남긴 섬세한 결이 또렷이 발현되는 보틀링이다. 팰럿에서는 잘 익은 사과, 흰 후추, 가벼운 꿀이 차례로 발전한다. 피니시는 마른 풀과 미네랄의 잔향이 단정하게 이어진다.
