향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
이미 사라진 글렌 알빈이 1964년에 빚어 둔 술이 카덴헤드의 덤피 보틀에 23년의 시간을 담아 1987년에 잔에 닿는다. 짙은 호박빛이 잔에 차분히 잠긴다. 향에서는 마른 가죽과 옅은 살구, 향신료의 결이 차례로 일어선다. 잔을 잠시 쉬게 하면 그 위로 옅은 토피와 잘 익은 자두의 결이 한 켜 더 얹힌다. 46도의 도수는 입안에서 흑설탕과 마른 무화과, 가벼운 토피를 펼쳐내고 두 번째 모금에서는 셰리의 옅은 단맛이 또렷해진다. 마지막에는 사라진 인버네스 인근 증류소의 잔향이 길게 머무르며 그 결이 잔향에 깊이 새겨진다.
