잔을 코앞으로 가져가면 64.8도의 기세가 먼저 부딪쳐 재떨이와 경유 같은 냄새가 코를 막는다. 물을 넉넉히 붓고 다시 흔들어도 소금물과 기름 냄새는 물러서지 않는다. 한 모금을 아주 조금만 혀에 얹으면 레몬이 강렬하게 터지고, 물을 더하면 자몽과 재, 아몬드 오일로 정돈된다. 삼킨 뒤에는 소독약 같은 약재 향과 짠 감초가 길게 붙어 있다. 어리고 거친 힘이 앞서는 12년이다.
