잔을 기울이면 깊은 골드빛이 천천히 잔 벽을 타고 내려온다. 코를 가져가면 62.3도의 기세가 먼저 밀려들고 석탄과 나무를 태운 연기, 그을음, 간장 같은 짠 내가 이어진다. 물을 몇 방울 떨어뜨리면 마른 셰리와 훈제 햄, 솔가지 연기, 멘톨이 차례로 열린다. 한 모금을 머금으면 레몬과 금귤이 재와 밀랍 사이를 뚫고 올라오고, 삼킨 뒤에는 감초 뿌리와 멘톨이 오래 따라온다. 1974년에 증류해 1988년에 병입한 14년의 아일라다.
