잔을 흔들면 생테밀리옹 와인 캐스크를 거친 술이 붉은 기 없이 맑게 흔들린다. 코를 가져가면 생각보다 훨씬 약재 같은 향과 해변 모닥불, 요오드가 앞서고 뒤로 흰 빵과 자몽이 따라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 라임과 연기, 쓴 마지팬이 균형을 이루고 사과 껍질의 떫은 기운이 끝을 잡는다. 삼키면 매캐한 연기와 소금, 재가 짧지 않게 남아 결코 가볍지 않은 술임을 알려 준다.
