맑은 황금빛이 잔에 또렷하게 빛난다. 버번 캐스크에서 11년을 보낸 오반 증류소 익스클루시브는 서부 하이랜드 해안 증류소다운 단정하면서도 짭조름한 개성을 드러낸다. 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 옅은 바다 내음의 향이 맑게 솟아오른다. 53.9도의 도수는 입안을 부드럽게 채우며 보리의 단맛과 시트러스, 은근한 소금기를 드러낸다. 해안 몰트다운 미네랄이 혀를 감싸고, 끝맛은 꿀과 바다 소금을 남기며 길게 머문다.

Same tension between the sweeter and creamier components such has pineapple, gorse flower and coconut, and these fantastically salty and pure aspects that recall bone dry Manzanilla, green olive and aniseed. Once again this feeling that Oban is a powerful and rather challenging whisky at heart. With water: creamy in texture, on various shades of pepper, camphor, hessian and peppery, grassy olive oil. The mustard is also back with a vengeance!
