향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 30년 숙성답게 오크의 존재감이 먼저 두드러진다. 시큼한 우드 뒤로 사과주와 소금기, 드라이한 소비뇽 블랑 같은 산미가 이어지고 예상 밖의 화이트 테킬라 같은 인상이 스친다. 팰럿은 60.1도라는 도수 덕에 밀도가 높고 이탄과 훈제 청어, 소금기, 자몽, 감초가 차례로 발전한다. 30년을 보내고도 이 도수를 유지한 점이 특기할 만하다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 짠맛과 재가 남는다.

richer and fatter than the Maltman, not only because of the higher strength. More of everything, peat, kippers, brine, grapefruit, liquorice, gentian spirit… Very quaffable at 60% vol.! Hold on, 60% vol. at 30 years of age!? With water: some fresh almonds coming through, as often with Caol Ila in my opinion. That’s very nice
