테이스팅 노트
잔을 천천히 돌리면 깊은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 느릿하게 일렁인다. 코끝으로 가져가면 문 닫은 댈러스 두 특유의 묵은 꿀과 익은 과일, 오래된 오크 향이 깊게 올라온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 1970년 빈티지 31년의 풍미가 캐러멜과 말린 살구, 가벼운 왁스로 혀에 퍼지고, 50도가 둥글게 흐른다. 목을 넘기면 묵은 오크와 꿀의 잔향이 길게 잠겨 있다.

frankly, same style as the 1980 here, with even more plastic and soot. Even exhaust fumes. Having said that, this very unsexy smoky profile can also make us a little nostalgic. No current malts are even remotely akin to these Dallas Dhus – or maybe some Longrows or Ledaigs (yes, Longrow and Ledaig are very different)

once again, we’re close to the 1980, but maybe this one saw a fresher oak because there’s rather more vanilla and ‘roundness’. On the other hand, there’s also more bitter tea and herbs. More pepper too (from the oak?) Oh, and more porridge/sour muesli
