향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
스피릿 오브 스코틀랜드로 나온 이 13년 숙성 위스키는 잔에서 맑은 황금빛을 보인다. 1977년의 카올 일라답게 향은 화려함보다 섬세함을 택했다. 훈제 생선과 석탄 먼지, 오래된 밀랍이 차례로 열리고 배와 사과의 조린 단맛이 뒤를 잇는다. 입에서는 40도의 유순한 질감 위로 연기가 얇게 얹히고 풋사과의 산미가 그 위를 지난다. 젊은 숙성인데도 날이 서 있지 않다. 여운은 짧고 깨끗하며 마른 견과의 쓴맛만 남긴다.

restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
we find the Caol Ila smoke, accompanied by slightly green apples and again, waxes. It's not extremely maritime, but the smoke is definitely present. It then becomes a bit cardboard-like, but that's the fate of many old malts bottled at 40% ABV, even more so when they have been (slightly) darkened with caramel
timer 피니시
a bit short but very clean, with green walnuts tickling the back of your palate. Like in the early sherried ones we tasted!
