향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 훈제 연어와 멍든 사과, 석탄 먼지가 먼저 드러난다. 이어 연필 깎은 부스러기와 배 케이크, 오래된 밀랍과 책의 뉘앙스가 조용히 발전한다. 향의 세기는 크지 않으나 결이 대단히 곱다. 팰럿에서는 카올일라의 연기가 분명하게 살아 있고 풋사과와 왁스가 뒤를 받친다. 다만 후반에는 40도 병입 특유의 얇아지는 구간이 있다. 피니시는 짧지만 깨끗하며 풋호두의 씁쓸함이 남는다. 섬세함으로 승부하는 1977년 빈티지다.

we find the Caol Ila smoke, accompanied by slightly green apples and again, waxes. It's not extremely maritime, but the smoke is definitely present. It then becomes a bit cardboard-like, but that's the fate of many old malts bottled at 40% ABV, even more so when they have been (slightly) darkened with caramel
timer 피니시
a bit short but very clean, with green walnuts tickling the back of your palate. Like in the early sherried ones we tasted!
