잔을 살짝 흔들면 맑은 황금빛이 잔을 얇게 적신다. 코끝에 가져가면 27년을 보낸 스트라스클라이드 그레인다운 바닐라와 코코넛, 버터스카치 향이 달콤하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 오랜 숙성이 다듬은 매끄러운 곡물 풍미가 혀에 퍼지고 53.5도의 기운이 크림과 옅은 오크를 밀어 올린다. 삼키고 나면 달큰한 캐러멜과 흰 후추가 혀끝에 길게 남는다.
