코냑에 가까운 짙은 갈색이 잔 안에 무겁게 잠겨 있다. 1969년 증류해 15년을 채운 이 위스키의 향은 셰리의 흔적으로 시작한다. 밀랍과 란시오, 오렌지 마멀레이드가 이어지고 볶은 커피의 쌉쌀함이 그 사이를 채운다. 입에서는 후추의 자극이 먼저 오고 익힌 사과와 정향의 향신료가 뒤따른다. 40도에도 구조는 단단하며 화려하기보다 압축되어 있다. 여운은 대담하고 길며 마른 나무와 옅은 훈연이 마지막까지 남는다.
