잔을 가까이 하면 연고와 왁스, 오래된 허브 리큐어가 한 덩어리로 뭉쳐 개별 향을 분리해내기 어려울 만큼 융합되어 있다. 40도라는 낮은 도수가 우려를 부르지만 팰럿은 의외로 복합적이다. 훈연한 가염 버터 캐러멜의 결이 또렷하게 드러나고 기름진 질감이 뒤따른다. 피니시는 다소 짧게 마무리되나 베르가못과 금귤, 훈제 생선과 재의 흔적이 순서대로 남는다. 낮은 도수를 숙성 밀도로 상쇄한 고든앤맥페일 16년의 사례다.
