향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
일본 미야기쿄 증류소가 1996년에 채워 둔 퍼스트필 리메이드 배럴 한 통이 18년의 시간을 견디고 워하우스 18번의 싱글 캐스크로 자리한다. 짙은 황금이 잔에 자리한다. 향에서는 잘 익은 사과와 옅은 바닐라, 마른 보리의 결이 차례로 일어선다. 잔을 천천히 흔들면 그 위로 옅은 흰 꽃과 풀잎의 결이 한 켜 더 얹힌다. 62도의 강한 도수는 입안에서 시럽 같은 단맛과 향신료, 가벼운 시트러스를 펼쳐내고 두 번째 모금에서는 잘 익은 배의 단맛이 또렷해진다. 마지막에는 부드러운 오크가 길게 이어지며 일본 동북부의 청량한 결이 잔향에 차분히 남는다.
