엑스버번과 아포스톨레스 올로로소 셰리 캐스크에서 48년을 보낸 아득한 세월이 1970년 탐나불린을 깊이 익혔다. 두 우드가 어우러져 마른 살구와 오렌지, 구운 견과가 섬세하게 올라온다. 입에서는 잘 익은 과일과 꿀, 부드러운 오크가 비단처럼 번지고 40도의 도수가 단맛을 잔잔하게 받친다. 반세기에 가까운 숙성이 빚어낸 원숙함이 인상적이다. 짙은 호박빛 끝에는 마른 과일과 가벼운 향신료가 길게 남는다.
