much more silent, stony, grassy and peppery at first nosing, but with again quite some porridge and also notes of newly cut cactus. A little dusty, I must say, but then we have nice notes of camphor and eucalyptus (Vicks), roots, wood plank… Less easy than its lighter twin cask
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
better! More body, more spices, more mint. Hints of Turkish delights, pepper, walnuts… Lots of wood but a nice one. Goes on with gentian and liquorice, getting almost thick and creamy
timer 피니시
really long but woody and spicy… What’s sure is that this one is very ‘natural’ and full bodied: true whisky for big boys. 86 points . MUSIC – Recommended listening: Cool, very cool: we’re in 1963 and John William Coltrane blows while Johnny Hartman sings One and only love.mp3 . Just superb. Please buy Trane’s music.
