노즈에서는 마데이라 피니시에서 온 졸인 과일과 견과, 가벼운 꿀 향이 먼저 두드러진다. 애버펠디 21년산은 40도의 단정한 도수에서 증류소 특유의 헤더 꿀과 와인 캐스크의 단맛이 또렷하게 맞물린다. 팰럿은 매끄럽게 흐르며 마른 살구와 구운 견과, 캐러멜이 균형을 이룬다. 피니시는 달콤한 과일과 가벼운 향신료의 잔향을 남기며 부드럽게 마무리된다.
