노즈는 폐쇄된 카퍼도닉의 1972 빈티지답게 잘 익은 열대 과일과 오래된 왁스 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 35년 숙성에서 발전한 옅은 시트러스 껍질과 향신료 노트가 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿에서는 농축된 망고와 카라멜이 균형을 이루고, 48.7도 도수가 두꺼운 질감으로 입을 덮는다. 피니시는 부드러운 오크와 옅은 박하 잔향으로 길게 이어진다. 던컨 테일러 레어 올드 시리즈답게 잃어버린 증류소의 구조감이 또렷하다.
