화이트와인처럼 창백한 빛이 잔 안에서 맑게 빛난다. 칼날 같은 피트가 먼저 지나가고 올리브유와 벤 풀, 자갈과 조개 껍데기의 미네랄이 뒤따른다. 타르와 소금기, 시칠리아 레몬의 산미가 21년이라는 시간을 무색하게 할 만큼 또렷하다. 58.6도의 술은 입안을 묵직하게 채우며 재와 약재 같은 피트를 밀어 넣는다. 1974년 증류액의 여운은 오래도록 눈을 감게 만드는 깊이로 이어진다.
