1970년대 아일라 원액에는 지금과 다른 거친 해안의 기운이 있다. 1974년 증류해 오크통에서 20년을 보낸 뒤 1995년 58도로 병입된 이 카덴헤드는 밀짚색을 띤다. 사이더와 디젤 기름, 삼베와 어망 냄새가 겹치고 입에서는 레몬 마멀레이드와 망고 처트니가 크리미하게 퍼진다. 여운은 라임과 연기로 지독하게 길다.
