테이스팅 노트
엷은 금빛이 잔 안에 잔잔히 잠겨 있다. 46도로 낮춰 병입한 이 1992년 증류액은 곡물과 견과의 고소함이 먼저 서고 그 뒤로 마른 건초와 파라핀, 경유의 기름진 뉘앙스가 따라온다. 테레빈과 아마인유를 떠올리게 하는 거친 결이 이 위스키의 개성이다. 입에서는 밀랍 같은 단맛이 곧 풀과 후추의 쌉쌀함으로 바뀌며 마른다. 여운은 길고 허브와 어린 타닌의 떫은 결이 남는다.

much sharper, more spirity, very grainy and nutty. Certainly more middle-of-the-road than the two Glenuries we just had. Gets then grassier (hay), with quite some paraffin, diesel oil… quite rough but actually quite stylish at the same time. We have also whiffs of turpentine and linseed oil. A painter’s studio?

sweet, waxy again, but gets quite acrid, grassy, peppery, drying… Not much pleasure on the palate this time. Like if you chewed wax – or rather paraffin

long, herbal, with still a lot of paraffin and green tannins. This one is a little difficult I think but it’s an interesting variant, more austere. 81 points.
