테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 사라진 임페리얼 증류소다운 잘 익은 과일과 맥아, 꿀이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 배럴 숙성이라 우드는 절제됐고 43.3도의 팰럿은 부드럽게 둥글며 사과와 배, 바닐라가 차례로 발전한다. 22년의 긴 숙성이 곡물의 단맛에 깊이를 더해 마른 오크와 향신료가 또렷이 올라오고, 피니시는 꿀과 보리가 깔끔하게 이어진다. 엘릭서가 병입한 이 임페리얼은 폐업 증류소 특유의 희소한 원숙미가 핵심이다.

Quite pure and cereal as well, as so often with these 95 Imperials it’s pretty focused on the raw ingredients, which I always love. Opens up with mineral oils, putty, sandalwood, pot pourri and touches of flints, pebbles and clay. Photocopier toner, lime zest and some scrunched newspaper. All very fresh and elegant
