향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 맑고 잔잔하게 빛난다. 지금은 문을 닫은 임페리얼 증류소를 오크 캐스크에서 19년 보낸 이 위스키는 사라진 증류소의 정취를 담고 있다. 향에는 꿀과 잘 익은 사과, 마른 풀의 향이 어우러지고, 53.4도의 한 모금은 맥아의 단맛과 가벼운 시트러스, 은은한 오크로 입안을 감싼다. 오래 잠든 스페이사이드의 부드러운 결이 또렷이 살아 있고, 여운에는 꿀과 나무의 단맛이 잔잔히 풀려 천천히 사그라든다.

ah yes, now it’s my favourite, very old Highlands style, with that great fruits/minerals combo that’s hard to describe. Resinous honey, lemon marmalade, cough drops, pepper… And it’s all really big. With water: more of the same, but big time. Probably a little less complex and ‘entertaining’ than cask #951 but maybe even more satisfying for its great compactness
