옅은 금빛이 잔 안쪽에 고르게 퍼진다. 향은 이 증류소의 교과서에 가까워 버터와 훈연 위에 갓 자른 사과와 귤이 얹히고, 바닷바람과 굴의 기운이 그 사이를 지난다. 53.7도의 입은 감초와 연기로 시작해 과일 샐러드와 마지팬으로 옮겨갔다가 시간이 지날수록 재와 광물 쪽으로 기운다. 1984년 증류액이 스물여섯 해에 걸쳐 쌓은 흐름이다. 여운은 길고 건조하며 피트가 깨끗하게 마무리된다.
