향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
호그스헤드에서 12년을 거친 시간이 1994 야마자키의 결을 일본 위스키 특유의 정갈한 결로 정리해준다. 노즈에는 잘 익은 사과와 흰 꽃, 옅은 바닐라가 가장 먼저 올라오고 그 뒤로 미즈나라를 떠올리게 하는 옅은 향나무 톤이 따라붙는다. 입에서는 캐러멜라이즈된 배와 마른 꿀, 우드 스파이스가 부드러운 질감으로 흐르고 56도의 알코올이 잘 정돈된 균형을 만든다.

partly similar to its ‘bro’ but more phenolic, resinous, smoky (pinewood) and herbal (patchouli, hashish). Quite spectacular, even at 62% ABV. With water: a tad less resinous but also a tad peatier. Greens, shoe polish, mushrooms (do you know blue foot or wood blewit? They smell exactly like this malt.) Big stuff
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
almost the same whisky as its sister cask, only fruitier and more flavourful. Unusual notes of lychee liqueur and rose jelly. With water: again, close to the NBA’s cask but with an extra-dimension, brought by these very fruity notes (lychees and such) that I never found in any Scotch – I mean, to this extend. Spectacular whisky
