노즈는 해안의 신선함이 가장 먼저 두드러져 풋사과와 굴, 훈제 생선, 벽난로의 재가 차례로 드러난다. 아일라 몰트 중에서도 피트가 과하지 않아 균형이 단단한 편이다. 43도의 팰럿은 바닐라의 둥근 단맛 위로 레몬과 목탄, 바닷물, 녹색 올리브가 발전한다. 피니시는 길고 시트러스와 짠맛이 선명하며 끝에서 굴의 뉘앙스가 다시 올라온다. 카올 아일라 12년의 기준점다운 구성이다.
