가볍게 피트를 입은 벤로막 2008년이 퍼스트필 버번 캐스크에서 8년을 보내고 옅은 금빛으로 잔에 담긴다. 코끝에는 갓 벤 보릿짚과 바닐라, 희미한 모닥불 연기가 산뜻하게 피어오르고, 옅은 레몬이 그 사이를 가른다. 한 모금 머금으면 꿀과 시리얼, 잘 구운 사과의 단맛이 또렷이 번지고, 어린 원액다운 생기가 혀 위에서 활기차게 움직인다. 56.3도의 기운이 곧게 차오르며, 마지막에는 옅은 스모크와 보리의 단맛이 깔끔하게 이어진다.

Very punchy whisky, and pretty much the style that I enjoy most (you know, Brora/Longrow… And Clynelish/Springbank to have a consistent story). No signs of excessive youth.
