진한 마호가니 빛이 잔에 깊게 머문다. 1984년의 글렌글래소를 셰리 버트에서 25년 동안 보낸 이 LMDW 전용 올드 몰트 캐스크는 마른 무화과와 잘 익은 자두, 가죽의 향이 또렷이 드러난다. 입에서는 50도의 균형 잡힌 도수가 다크 초콜릿과 흑설탕, 호두를 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 폐쇄됐다가 부활한 하이랜드 해안 증류소의 깊은 셰리 색채가 길게 이어진다.

nah, this is too young. Vanilla and cherries on porridge, then a lot of plum eau-de-vie, which I often find in very young malts. Not unpleasant, in fact, but without peat, special cut, mild climate or 'heavy' wood, it's hard to come up with 'mature' whisky after just four or five years
