커피빛에 가까운 마호가니 술을 잔에서 굴리면 무거운 눈물 자국이 천천히 내려온다. 코를 가져가면 검은 체리와 금속 광택제, 호두주와 오래된 구리 주전자 냄새가 몰려오고 마른 버섯과 낡은 책 냄새가 뒤를 잇는다. 한 모금 머금으면 훈연한 토피와 미소된장, 블랙올리브의 감칠맛이 열리고 블러드 오렌지의 산미가 끼어든다. 삼키면 초콜릿과 약초 추출물이 60.1도의 힘을 타고 길게 이어진다.

Wonderful dried mushrooms, umami for sure, miso, a salty black olive note says Angus, blood orange, and overall a rather thick… err, thickness. Pancake syrup, molasses… With water: a bakery says Angus, with brown bread, seeds, cherry cake, cough medicine, some rather bitter strong honey, and a lot of chocolate. Mole sauce, cured game meat, a glass of very old pinot noir says Angus who seems to be thirsty as ever…
