60.4도라는 도수가 무색하게 이 위스키의 향은 검은 체리와 금속 광택제, 호두주의 뉘앙스로 촘촘하게 채워진다. 말린 버섯 가루와 가죽, 오래된 책, 보이차의 흙내가 층층이 발전한다. 팰럿은 훈연한 토피와 쓴 초콜릿에서 시작해 미소와 감칠맛, 블러드 오렌지로 이어지며 질감이 두껍다. 당밀 같은 단맛이 높은 도수를 감싼다. 피니시는 길고 카카오의 쌉싸름함과 허브 추출물의 인상이 오래 간다.

Wonderful dried mushrooms, umami for sure, miso, a salty black olive note says Angus, blood orange, and overall a rather thick… err, thickness. Pancake syrup, molasses… With water: a bakery says Angus, with brown bread, seeds, cherry cake, cough medicine, some rather bitter strong honey, and a lot of chocolate. Mole sauce, cured game meat, a glass of very old pinot noir says Angus who seems to be thirsty as ever…
