마호가니에 가까운 짙은 갈색이 잔 깊은 곳에 가라앉아 있다. 향은 검은 체리와 금속 광택제, 호두주의 결이 겹치며 오래된 구리 솥을 떠올리게 한다. 버섯 가루와 가죽, 낡은 책과 보이차의 흙내가 끝없이 이어진다. 입에서는 훈연한 토피와 쓴 초콜릿이 앞서고 미소된장과 검은 올리브의 감칠맛, 블러드 오렌지의 산미가 뒤따른다. 60.2도의 도수가 당밀 같은 두께를 만든다. 여운은 길고 초콜릿과 허브의 쓴맛이 기분 좋게 남는다.

Pancake syrup, molasses… With water: a bakery says Angus, with brown bread, seeds, cherry cake, cough medicine, some rather bitter strong honey, and a lot of chocolate. Mole sauce, cured game meat, a glass of very old pinot noir says Angus who seems to be thirsty as ever…
