스물다섯 해를 보낸 발메낙이 호그스헤드의 깊은 황금빛을 잔에 드리운다. 코에는 잘 익은 사과와 헤더 꿀, 마른 풀의 향이 그윽하게 피어오른다. 입에서는 농축된 과일 단맛과 바닐라가 매끄럽게 흐르고 오래된 오크의 향신료가 깊이를 더한다. 56도의 도수가 긴 숙성에 둥글게 녹아들어, 꿀과 가벼운 향신료의 여운이 길게 이어진다.
