노즈에서 가장 먼저 두드러지는 것은 뜻밖에도 강한 초산 뉘앙스다. 아세톤과 사과 식초, 커스터드가 뒤섞인 도입부는 분명 호불호가 갈린다. 50도의 팰럿은 노즈보다 정돈되어 훈연한 사과즙과 소금물이 드러나고 감초 뿌리와 카르다몸, 후추가 뒤따른다. 그럼에도 식초 같은 산미가 끝까지 남아 균형을 흔든다. 피니시는 길고 타닌이 강하지만 산미는 오히려 옅어진다. 짚빛 색상이 말해주듯 우드의 개입은 최소한이다.
