맑은 금빛 속에 대단히 별난 성격이 숨어 있다. 1993년 원액을 호그스헤드에서 11년만 재운 이 싱글 캐스크는 첫 향부터 마늘과 채소 수프를 떠올리게 하는 낯선 길을 간다. 뒤이어 트러플과 대파, 삶은 뿌리채소의 흙내가 겹치며 익숙한 과일 향과는 다른 자리에 선다. 54.9도의 입안은 트러플과 다크 초콜릿, 금속을 닦은 듯한 광택이 지나가고 후추가 마르게 조인다. 여운은 제법 길고 끝까지 채소밭의 서늘한 기운이 깊게 머문다.
