향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
금빛이 맑게 잔 속을 채우지만 그 안에 담긴 성격은 결코 온순하지 않다. 올로로소 셰리 벗에서 28년을 보낸 이 1991년 스프링뱅크는 롱로우를 의심하게 할 만큼 이탄이 진하다. 코에는 연기와 재, 자몽 껍질, 기름때 같은 금속성이 겹치고 갓 간 후추가 그 위를 덮는다. 54.7도의 입안은 극단적으로 레몬에 가깝고 톡 쏘는 소금기가 계속 밀려든다. 여운은 길고 메마르며 그을음과 잿내가 끝까지 또렷이 깃들어 있다.

aaah, this is much greater. Cleaner for sure – that wasn’t difficult to achieve – and unexpectedly peaty, almost as peaty as Longrow. Or is it Longrow in disguise? So smoke, ashes, grapefruits, engine oil, freshly ground pepper… and all that. With water: some smoked floor-cloth – and I like that ;-)
