하이랜드 동부 해안의 발블레어가 열두 해를 보내 잔에 옅은 황금빛으로 익었다. 잔을 기울이면 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 보리의 고소한 향이 산뜻하게 피어오른다. 46도의 도수로 한 모금은 부드럽게 흐르며, 캐러멜과 바닐라, 가벼운 향신료가 입안에 감돈다. 깔끔하고 균형 잡힌 과일 향이 발블레어다운 개성을 드러낸다. 여운은 과일과 몰트의 잔향을 남기며 부드럽게 이어진다.
