북부 하이랜드 에더튼의 비옥한 보리밭과 청량한 공기가 발블레어 1965의 결을 만든다. 잔에는 옅은 호박빛이 또렷이 깃들어 있고 12년의 시간이 빚어낸 잘 익은 사과와 보리설탕, 그리고 옅은 견과의 향이 천천히 일어난다. 45.7도의 부드러운 무게로 입안에서는 꿀과 시나몬, 가벼운 오크의 단맛이 둥글게 펼쳐진다. 여운에는 보리와 마른 풀의 풍미가 길게 이어진다.
