테이스팅 노트
진한 호박빛이 잔 안에 짙게 비친다. 1974년 빈티지의 발블레어가 셰리 캐스크에서 27년을 보낸 후 46도로 병입된 이 하이랜드 셀렉션 리미티드 에디션은 북부 하이랜드 증류소의 결을 또렷이 안고 있다. 향에서는 잘 익은 자두와 가죽, 정향이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에 닿으면 부드러운 단맛과 옅은 후추, 가벼운 짠맛이 입천장에 펼쳐진다. 46도의 도수가 자극 없이 27년의 시간을 또렷이 전한다. 셰리 캐스크의 결과 빈티지 골격이 서로 또렷이 받쳐 준다. 여운은 잔잔히 이어진다.

this one is very expressive at first nosing, all on flowers, fruits and slightly yeasty/mashy notes. Wild flowers, dandelions, butter pears, apple juice, gooseberries, vanilla-flavoured yoghurt, hints of tangerines and just touches of oak... Very ‘natural’ in these days when many whiskies get sort of flavoured (let’s not start...) Fresh and eminently ‘likable’
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
light but not weak, fresh but maybe a little less clean than on the nose... Comes back into the line a little more as far as the palate is concerned but it’s still excellent malt whisky. Faint kirschy notes but good body, with a pleasant spiciness arising after a moment (white pepper and cinnamon)
timer 피니시
rather long, all on pears and soft spices. Again, very good ‘natural’ whisky, with a true taste of the Highlands (if that makes any sense). 85 points (more for the nose). Balblair 1979 (46%, OB, 15 casks, 2006) We’ve heard that this one is now almost sold out. Yes we’re late
