향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
서른네 해를 건넌 술치고는 놀랍도록 연한 금빛이 잔에 맑게 남아 있다. 향은 망고와 패션프루트, 파파야가 한꺼번에 쏟아지듯 열대의 과실감으로 열리고 민트와 회향, 아카시아 꿀이 그 뒤를 잇는다. 40.9도의 입은 같은 과일을 그대로 이어받되 오크에서 온 백후추가 결을 잡아준다. 여운은 도수에 비해 길고 자몽 껍질과 계피, 풋고추 같은 매운 기운이 마지막에 또렷이 깃들어 있다.

I think it’s in those years that Springbank was closest to Bowmore, and vice versa. Indeed this bursts with tropical fruits such as mangos, passion fruits and papayas, before some fresh mint and fennel join in, as well as touches of vanilla and acacia honey. It’s not a hugely complex old whisky, but the fruitiness is totally impressive. Very elegant

very same notes on the palate, expect that there’s a little white pepper from the oak. Same papayas, oranges, honey and mangos, with just touches of butterscotch and then a little more Springbankness, that is to say more oils and ‘mineral and grassy stuff’
