버번과 뉴 오크, 셰리 배럴이 20년에 걸쳐 켜켜이 새긴 복잡한 흔적이 가장 먼저 코를 사로잡는다. 일본 홋카이도 Yoichi 증류소가 자체 병입한 52도의 싱글 몰트로 2012년 시장에 나온 보틀이다. 향에서는 짙은 피트 스모크와 다크 베리, 묵직한 오크가 또렷이 드러난다. 입안에서는 그을린 보리와 흑설탕, 동양 향신료가 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 깊은 황금빛 잔의 끝에는 일본 북쪽 해안의 짠 바닷바람과 셰리의 단맛이 길게 머문다.
