잔을 가볍게 흔들면 일본 홋카이도 요이치 10년의 옅은 호박빛이 잔 안쪽을 미끄러진다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 요이치 특유의 옅은 피트 연기와 잘 익은 사과, 부드러운 시리얼의 향이 차례로 인사한다. 한 모금을 머금으면 45%의 도수가 입안에서 일본 위스키 특유의 깔끔한 균형과 옅은 꿀, 약간의 짠 미네랄로 풀려나간다. 삼킨 뒤에도 요이치 10년의 단정한 잔향이 입천장에 오래 따라온다.
