향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
셰리 캐스크를 거쳤다고 하기에는 놀랄 만큼 옅은 백포도주빛이 잔에 담긴다. 통의 영향이 약해 곡물과 오트밀, 삶은 감자 같은 무던한 향이 앞서고 바닐라는 뒤늦게 겨우 얼굴을 내민다. 51.5도의 입은 오렌지의 신맛이 다소 거칠게 튀며 균형이 완전히 맞지는 않는다. 열 해만 보낸 1996년 스프링뱅크는 화려함보다 증류액 그 자체의 민낯을 보여 주는 쪽이다. 여운은 레몬과 마른 종이의 결로 담백하게 마무리된다.

Certainly not undrinkable but below par – I like the 6yo much better (which may also prove that Spirngbank’s more recent distillates are cleaner and better again (in my opinion). 68 points .
