노즈에서는 분필과 사워도우, 덜 익은 바나나가 먼저 두드러지고 소나무 수지와 부엽토, 해초가 층을 이룬다. 29년이라는 나이에 비해 화려함보다는 정밀함이 앞서는 구성이다. 46.9도의 팰럿은 도수 이상으로 힘이 있어 후추와 흙, 사과가 부싯돌처럼 날카롭게 조각된다. 피니시는 비교적 길고 후추가 지배하며, 1993년 혹스헤드 숙성의 절제된 구조감이 끝까지 유지된다.
